Graphene Frontiers, a company developed through the University of Pennsylvania's Center for Technology Transfer, has been awarded a $744,600 grant from the National Science Foundation to develop roll-to-roll production of graphene, the “miracle material” at the heart of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Delaware Port Joins List of TIGER V Grant Recipients

Delaware Port Joins List of TIGER V Grant Recipients

The Diamond State Port Corporation, which operates the Port of Wilmington in Delaware, was awarded a $10 million Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant, which will fund a project to rehabilitate a wharf dating back to 1923 that serves two critical general cargo berths at the port of Wilmington. The total cost of the project is $13.4 million. The Diamond State Port Corporation will fund the remaining $3.4 million.
