Select Helps Locate Advanced Manufacturing Company in Bristol, PA

Following an extensive site selection process, the label printing company Nosco, Inc., announced that it will locate its business in the Greater Philadelphia region. Nosco's new “On Demand Solutions Center” in Bristol, Pennsylvania will be dedicated to manufacturing healthcare packaging. The facility is 23,000 square feet and will employ 50 people. Nosco, Inc. is headquartered in Gurnee, Illinois.

GuardianMPS Announces Growth Plans in Greater Philadelphia

This month, GuardianMPS announced that it will continue to grow and establish its U.S. headquarters in Philadelphia. Since launching last spring, the company will now open a Philadelphia office in early 2014 with roughly 10 employees, growing to 30 employees over the next three years.

Three Princeton University spin-off companies are among those highlighted in a new national report calling attention to the importance of federally funded university research in driving economic growth. The report, published by the Science Coalition, a nonprofit group of more than 50 of the nation's leading public and private research universities, identified 100 companies that trace their roots to federally funded university research.
