Chemical powerhouse FMC Corporation plans to separate into two independent public companies, “New FMC” and “FMC Minerals.” The separation is expected to be completed in early 2015 and will allow the new companies to pursue distinct strategic directions, with a greater focus on the success factors that are most important to each of their businesses.
