Marcellus Shale Gas Production Hits Another Record

Natural gas production from the Marcellus Shale hit another record, producing more than 15 billion cubic feet per day through July, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA).

The Marcellus Shale formation is located primarily in Pennsylvania, accounting for almost 40 percent of U.S. shale gas production.
