Select Greater Philadelphia investor Holt Logistics Corp, working in collaboration with South Jersey Port Corporation, Gloucester County Economic Development and other partners in southern New Jersey, secured NMLK Steel as their first tenet in the newly constructed, state-of-the-art terminal at the Port of Paulsboro. NMLK is one of the leading suppliers of steel products in the US.

Delaware Small Business Loans Up for Fifth Year in a Row

For the fifth year in a row, the number of U.S. Small Business Administration loans in Delaware increased. There were 143 loans worth more than $44 million made for startup or expansion through the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30. M&T Bank issued the most SBA loans — 53 totaling $4.8 million. Applied Bank lent the most money — $9.7 million through six loans.

The 7(a) program is designed to provide small businesses with the most comprehensive type of financial assistance.

It's all ‘A’s for each of Virtua's four hospitals, according to the Fall 2014 Hospital Safety Score, which rates how well hospitals protect patients from errors, injuries and infections. The Hospital Safety Score is compiled under the guidance of the nation’s leading experts on patient safety and is administered by The Leapfrog Group (Leapfrog), an independent industry watchdog organization. The score is designed to give consumers useful information they can use to choose a hospital for themselves and their families.
