Philadelphia Named as First World Heritage City in America

Philadelphia is a city of firsts and, as of this month, the city has achieved yet another by becoming the first World Heritage city in the United States. The City of Brotherly Love joined the list of 269 globally-recognized metropolitan areas as a city distinguished by its cultural and historical significance, further driving the Philadelphia region as a top location to establish and grow a business.

Temple Ranks Top 10 in the Nation for Entrepreneurship

The colleges and universities on Princeton Review's list of top 25 schools for entrepreneurship studies are evaluated by their abundance of in-class and out-of-class program experiences, eager and engaged faculty, and extraordinary networking opportunities. Temple University's undergraduate and graduate programs were ranked within the top 10 entrepreneurship programs in the nation, beating out schools such as Lehigh and Columbia University.

Governor Wolf Proposes Strategy to create 3,700 jobs at Port of Philadelphia

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced his plan to add 3,700 jobs to the Port of Philadelphia earlier this month. He said that the port has a strategic location on the East Coast, stating, “I am committed to ensuring the commonwealth is a strong partner with the Philadelphia Regional Port Authority so that this vital resource remains competitive on a global scale.”
