Revitalization Projects Receive Grants
The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission has awarded a total of $3 million in grants for revitalization projects in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. These grants will primarily be used for plans and studies for projects in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties in New Jersey, and Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania. The grants are a part of the organization’s Transportation and Community Development Initiative (TCDI) and are made available to counties, municipalities and nonprofits. TCDI has awarded $9 million in grants over the last five years, which funded over 100 projects and leveraged more than $160 million in additional public funding and more than $2.2 billion in private funding.
