Wilmington Riverfront Investment Sees Profits on the Horizon

A recent study commissioned by the Riverfront Development Corp. of Delaware found that profitability is in sight for the $1 billion Wilmington riverfront investment. It has been a work in progress, but according to the University of Delaware’s Center for Applied Demography and Survey Research, it has generated $67 million in revenue for the city, New Castle County and the state. In addition, riverfront businesses employ 3,000 and support another 1,000 elsewhere in the state.
