Six Local CEOs Highlighted in Philadelphia Business Journal
Six CEOs from the Greater Philadelphia region were highlighted in this year’s Philadelphia Now supplement published by The Philadelphia Business Journal. All part of Select Greater Philadelphia’s Ambassador Program, the executives use their knowledge and experience to promote it as a premiere location to do business. They included Jack Geltosky, former vice president-external science, technology and licensing for Bristol Myers Squibb, Daniel K. Fitzpatrick, president of Bank of America, Pennsylvania and co-chair of the Ambassador program, Dr. Steven M. Altshculer, president and CEO of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, David King, CEO of BioRexis Pharmaceutical Corp., Anthony J. Conti, managing partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Constantine Papadakis, president of Drexel University and co-chair of the Ambassador program. Participants of the Ambassador Program are equipped with an Ambassador Kit which provides information and tools to market Greater Philadelphia. Each executive highlighted has participated some way since the program’s inception whether through hosting a prospect company as they tour the region, speaking to journalists or recruiting more Ambassadors. There are currently 363 ambassadors enlisted in the program. “It’s really deputizing business people to be our eyes and ears to identify prospects,” said Tom Morr, president and CEO of Select Greater Philadelphia.
A continued thanks to all Ambassadors who have continued to support Select’s efforts by donating their time and expertise to promoting the Greater Philadelphia region.
