Science and Engineering Jobs in Region Get Biggest Raises

A recent salary survey by the MidAtlantic Employers’ Association found that salaries in science and technology fields are on the rise. In fact, the survey found that science and engineering jobs in the region experienced the biggest increases, about 4.4 percent on average. This includes engineers, chemists, designers, lab techs, and quality-control workers. And according to a recent WorldatWork study, the Greater Philadelphia region is right on target with the rest of the country, which as a whole showed increases in science and engineering.
