Wilmington’s Business Success
A recent summit at the city’s Center on the Riverfront touted Wilmington as a great place to do business. No stranger to business success, Bill Rancic, Donald Trump's first apprentice, was the event’s keynote speaker. But he wasn’t the only one addressing the audience at the three hour event. Speakers from economic, community and government organizations echoed the theme of the city’s economic prosperity. In fact, Wilmington has realized $1 billion in private sector development during the past three years, and more than $2 billion in the past five years. Developments like WSFS Financial Corp.'s new office building, and the establishment of Barclays' and ING Direct's Riverfront offices have all transformed the Delaware city.
