New Jersey’s Biotechnology Association Changes its Name

The Biotechnology Council of New Jersey recently announced a new name and identity to better reflect the mission and future direction of the 220-member organization. Now known as BioNJ, the organization cites continued growth of the biotechnology industry in New Jersey and its wish to be more closely aligned with the national BIO organization. Founded in 1994 by New Jersey biotechnology industry CEOs, BioNJ serves as the voice of biotechnology companies located in New Jersey, seeks to advance their economic growth and development and works to encourage new and established companies from around the world to locate to New Jersey. BioNJ represents companies engaged in biopharmaceutical, biomedical, bioagricultural and bioremedial endeavors.
