Big Step for Nanotechnology Institute - Pennsylvania provides $3.5 million

The State of Pennsylvania is giving $3.5 million dollars to the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania to continue work on its Nanotechnology Institute (NTI).

Ben Franklin Technology Partners worked with the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University to found the Nanotechnology Institute. NTI helps Philadelphia-area nanotechnology researchers market their discoveries.

In addition to the grant given to Ben Franklin Technology, Pennsylvania will be funding six more nanotechnology projects worth approximately $6.3 million dollars.
