Giving Careers a Jumpstart

The Regional Business Community is continuing its work to give younger Philadelphians a chance to acquire career skills through internships. WorkReady Philadelphia is coordinating the program.

In an Op-Ed piece in the Philadelphia Inquirer on Tuesday, April 8th, Independence Blue Cross CEO Joseph A. Frick and Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Mark S. Schweiker detail the program’s goal of filling 2,000 paid internships for high school and college students this summer.
