Air Passengers Love Philadelphia International Airport
Philadelphia’s airport is the best large airport in the country to travel through, according to a new J.D. Power customer satisfaction survey. More than 20,000 passengers who took round-trip flights over the last year were surveyed. They were asked about airport accessibility, check-in and baggage, security checks, terminal facilities, food and retail services, and baggage claim.

Survey Shows Greater Philadelphia is the Place to be for College Grads
That’s the new finding of a survey from Apartments.com and CareerBuilder’s CBCampus.com, which ranks Philadelphia as the best city for young men and women ages 20 to 24. The survey rank cities according to the number of entry-level job openings suitable for new grads and apartment rental fees, among other things.

Exelon Announces New Power Plant for Region
Exelon Corp. plans to build a new natural gas power plant in Greater Philadelphia to serve more than a half a million households. The facility will cost an estimated $700 million to build and will be completed no sooner than 2012. It’s estimated that 500 jobs will be added during the construction.

The Philadelphia 100 is celebrating its 20th year of honoring Greater Philadelphia’s 100 fastest growing, privately held companies. The annual awards program conducted by the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Business Journal and Wharton Small Business Development Center, is now accepting applications for 2008 nominees.

Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza Hosts State of the Region
Regional business community members, policy makers, and civic leaders from northern Delaware, southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania gathered at the Cherry Hill Crowne Plaza for the fourth annual State of the Region Friday, May 16th. The State of the Region is collaboration between the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
