EVANS JOINS SELECT GREATER PHILADELPHIA TEAM Earlier this month, Select Greater Philadelphia appointed Bryan Evans to serve as its Director of Public Relations and Publications. In this role, Evans will be responsible for execution and production of all public relations strategy, media relations and publications created to support the organization's mission to attract and retain business in the region. “We're excited to have Bryan aboard as an integral part of our team,” said Tom Morr, President and CEO of Select Greater Philadelphia. “He brings with him the experience and skill set we need to help us grow and attract business activity in the region.” Evans joins the organization with more than 12 years of experience leading national and global PR programs for companies in non-profit, healthcare, technology, and business/financial arenas. Prior to joining Select Greater Philadelphia, he served as Account Supervisor at Diccicco Battista Communications, where he managed several high-profile accounts within the region. Evans was previously the Director of Public Affairs for the Alliance for Downtown New York, where he worked with the mayor's office and other city, state and private agencies to help boost the region's economy by promoting the district's businesses, cultural institutions landmark attractions, and real estate incentives. Prior to his work with the Downtown Alliance, he headed up public relations and communications for a number of start-up companies after managing several key client relationships at Burson-Marsteller in New York City . |
