NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LEADERS SET TO SPEAK AT LOCAL EVENT
Technology leaders from around the country will gather in Philadelphia on Monday, September 22nd to participate in the latest event from Mobile Monday Mid-Atlantic, the Philadelphia chapter of a global networking organization for the wireless industry.
Panelists at the event, sponsored by Select Greater Philadelphia, will ask the audience of Philadelphian business people, entrepreneurs and students to imagine the possibilities of a world where high speed mobile internet access is truly ubiquitous.
The panel will discuss the technology options: LTE (Long Term Evolution, being adopted by carriers such as A&T and Verizon) and WiMax (favored by the Computing and Internet worlds of Xohm, Google, Intel and Comcast). Moderated by Kevin Werbach of The Wharton School, the panel will examine the new services and applications that will be enabled by these mobile networks.
