US AIRWAYS OFFERS FIRST-EVER DAILY NONSTOP SERVICE TO THE MIDDLE EAST FROM PHILLY

US Airways (NYSE:LCC) now offers new, daily nonstop flying to Tel Aviv from its international gateway at Philadelphia International Airport, linking the two sister cities and bolstering travel options between Israel and the United States. New Airbus A330-200 aircraft with seating for 20 in Envoy—US Airways' trans-Atlantic business class—and 238 in the main cabin will operate the year-round flying. The route will also be the longest in the US Airways system at more than 5,700 miles.

US Airways customers will also have more access to beautiful Caribbean beaches this fall and winter as the airline adds more nonstop flights to Barbados from its Philadelphia hub. US Airways will fly to Barbados four days a week starting Oct. 1, and then offer daily service for the winter season beginning Dec. 19. With this new service, US Airways will offer customers an average of 109 weekly nonstop flights to 14 Caribbean destinations from Philadelphia International Airport during the peak Caribbean travel season.
