SEA BOX MOVING HQ TO CINNAMINSON, NEW JERSEY AGC Flat Glass North America, Inc . has sold the 378,000 sq. ft. facility on 51 acres at 700 Union Landing Road in Cinnaminson, New Jersey to 1 Sea Box Drive, LLC of Cinnaminson. The sale price was $4,700,000.AGC Flat Glass North America, Inc., a leading North American flat glass manufacturer, was represented by Binswanger in this transaction. The building was formerly used by AGC for the manufacture of glass for residential windows. The new owner, Sea Box, Inc., specializes in new design and manufacture of custom shipping containers, primarily for the defense industry. Sea Box converts ISO containers into many different configurations, among them Emergency Command Centers and Military Workshops. Many of these end products are used by U.S. Special Force troops in the war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. In addition to defense applications, the containers can be modified for many other uses including shelters to be utilized by survivors of natural disasters. Sea Box's current headquarters is in East Riverton, New Jersey. They will be utilizing the new space for a major expansion and new headquarters. Currently, several departments are planning to occupy this facility by mid-January 2010 with a more complete transition occurring over the next 12 months. The new facility will also provide for significant future expansion. The property provides access to State highways 73 and 90, U.S. Highway 130, the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstates 295, 676 and 76, downtown Philadelphia and the Philadelphia International Airport. |
